Replenishing Foundation Soil
Testimonial:

After years of rains and weathering, the soil around my client's home had been eroded, revealing the foundation line. I rebuilt up the soil around the foundation using fill dirt, compacted it, and then covered it with drainage rocks to slow the future erosion. This area should not be a problem for my client for many years to come!

"John stayed in touch with me as a customer even after I had to reschedule the job several times. He and his fellow workers were hard-working and polite. The job was done well above my expectations. I will definitely refer him and his company to my friends and neighbors looking for landscaping work to be done!"

Driveway Resurfacing Work
Testimonial:

One thing is clear, gravel resurfacing can brighten up any piece of property. One of my latest jobs was to resurface approximately 3,850 sq. ft. with Crush and Run (ABC). After regrading the driveway and removing 1-2 inches of dirt in some areas, I put down about a 2-inch layer of stone. You can clearly see the difference the new driveway makes on the property! My client also requested that I extend the gravel driveway to his mailbox, a perfect addition to a house that is soon to hit the market!

"John did an excellent job overall. I thought there were going to be two people! John plowed through it."

Landscaping Timbers Removal & Soil Grading

In this job, my client wanted to remove the old rotten landscaping timbers from his property to create a more seamless and simple front yard. After taking apart and removing the timbers, I regraded the dirt from the flower beds to flow into the property's gentle sloping land. The customer also requested that the Holly, along with a couple of other bushes be removed from his yard.

Driveway Resurfacing and Grading

It was time! After going a decade or so since being resurfaced, my client decided to go ahead with the Job. The job took 3 full truckloads of Crush and Run and around 4 hrs to complete. As you can see, a fresh layer of Crush and Run really makes a difference and was well worth it!

Crush and run driveway installed in Durham NC

After a decade of not being touched or maintained, this long 1000 ft. driveway was brought back to life with a fresh thick layer of Crush and Run. In the last two pictures, I graded out and put a nice base layer of Crush and Run to extend my client's driveway out to her barn. There was no previous gravel, or proper gradind on this dirt road.

Driveway Resurfacing & Parking Pad Extension

On this job, a new client of mine wanted to resurface his driveway and extend the front parking pad for his vehicles. This job was fairly simple and required around 2 full dump trucks of Crush and Run from the local quarry. For the extension of the parking pad, a thick layer of base-rock material was needed in the area of extension in order to handle the wear and tear over the years.

Full Driveway Resurfacing & Parking Pad Extension

A new coat of Crush and Run made a difference on this job! Like my previous job, my client wanted to put in a new parking pad off to the side of his garage, along with resurfacing his driveway. By using Crush and Run, I was able to create a rock-hard surface after packing it down with the skid-steer that will last many years.

Resurfacing w/ #67 Stone & Installation of Drainage Rock

On this particular job, instead of resurfacing the driveway with the usual Crush and Run, my client opted to go with #67 Stone. As you can see, the driveway looks amazing after the layer of new stone was put down. We also put in drainage stone along the front brick wall in order to improve drainage and to prevent the wall from getting dirty during heavy rains.

Installing a Gravel Driveway for a Shed

This particular job was pretty straightforward. About a month prior, we built a gravel pad for our client. After getting the shed delivered and built, our client decided that she wanted a small gravel access road to the shed. As you can see the road turned out pretty nicely and now she can easily drive her cars down to the shed.

Neighborhood Driveway Asphalt Patching

A client contacted me wanting to repair his driveway after a water line broke. When we did this job we had to excavate around 8 tons of clay and dirt in order to have enough room to install a strong base for the asphalt. After compacting the base material we laid down roughly 2-2.5 inches of asphalt and compacted it. The end result looks fantastic!
